For the second year on the bounce The Magic Wingdom on Dormer Place in Leamington Spa has won big at Wing Fest, the largest chicken wing showdown in the UK. The Birmingham event took place over the bank holiday weekend and was judged by Michelin Star chef, Paul Foster & Wingmans founder, Ben Ford. Leamington’s Magic Wingdom was voted 1st place by the Judges for its Wild Wing, The Wingdominono, an homage to pizza, complete with Garlic & Herb Dip. It’s Kimchi Buffalo sauce scored 2nd this time in the Best Buffalo category. The People’s Choice Awards scored The Wingdominono a 1st place & The Buffalo a 3rd.
Owners Sam Cornwall-Jones & Frankie Griffiths were elated to come home with the awards for a second time. You can taste these sauces at The Leamington Food & Drink Festival on 9th, 10th September and visit the restaurant Tuesday- Saturday.
